What is happening
Echo Law, an Australian class action firm, is running a case against Tesla regarding the marketed Full Self-Driving functionality and the underlying hardware claims. Thousands of Australian owners have already registered. The case relies on, among other things, the Australian Consumer Law (misleading and deceptive conduct).
What this means for you
If you live in Australia and have purchased FSD, registering with Echo Law through their intake is the direct route. That is not the same as being counted in our register. The two do not exclude each other.
What we do
We record Australian registrations in the worldwide register. This reinforces negotiations with Tesla and visibility in the press. We do not represent you legally. For the class action, Echo Law is the designated route.
This register receives no fees from participants, does not fund litigation and is not a litigation funder under Australian law. Echo Law is the designated route for the class action.
