What is happening
The Vienna-based firm fokus Rechtsanwälte GmbH is gathering Austrian cases concerning Tesla's Hardware 3 promise at kein-autonomes-fahren.at. According to the firm, it has been working on the legal analysis of the HW3 issue since 2023 and offers a free, non-binding initial assessment. No lawsuit has been filed yet: cases are being gathered for a collective action that is in preparation. Once enough cases have been collected, claims will first be pursued extrajudicially and, if necessary and in coordination with the client, then in court.

If you live in Austria and bought your Hardware 3 Tesla there, registering via kein-autonomes-fahren.at is the direct route to a free initial assessment by Austrian lawyers. That is not the same as being counted in our register. The two do not exclude each other.
