Terms
These terms apply to your use of HW3 Claim (hw3claim.nl) and to your participation in this initiative.
Last updated: 23 April 2026
Nature of the initiative
Hw3claim.nl is a private initiative by Mischa Sigtermans. It is not a law firm, not a commercial service and not legal advice. Signing up does not create an attorney-client relationship. Signing up is free and non-binding.
Sign-up
Sign-up is free and non-binding. By signing up you confirm that you've filled in the form truthfully, that you agree to these terms and the privacy statement, and that you're an owner of a Tesla with Hardware 3, with or without a purchased FSD package.
No guarantee of outcome
Participation offers no guarantee of any specific legal or financial outcome. We aim for a constructive solution but can't guarantee one.
Existing legal proceedings
In some countries class actions or similar proceedings are already under way. In the United States, a federal class action was certified in August 2025 (Cotchett, Pitre & McCarthy LLP). In Australia, a class action runs through Echo Law. If you live in one of those jurisdictions and want to exercise your rights in that proceeding, please contact the relevant law firm directly. Registering with hw3claim.nl is not a substitute for participating in a local action, and it does not exclude it either. The jurisdictions page shows what is happening in each country.
Use of the site
You can read and share the content of this site for non-commercial purposes with attribution. Bulk scraping, automated sign-ups and attempts to bypass security are not permitted.
Tesla marks
Tesla, Model 3, Model S, Model X, Model Y, Full Self-Driving and other marks mentioned are the property of Tesla, Inc. Use on this site is purely descriptive and factual.
Changes
These terms may be updated. Material changes will be communicated to confirmed participants by email.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms and your use of this site are governed by Dutch law. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam. For participants outside the Netherlands, mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of habitual residence continue to apply and prevail over these terms.
